About Me.
I am a Senior Designer with a career spanning over 10 years, working in many areas of the craft such as Game Design, Combat Design, Level Design, Technical Design and UI/UX Design. Working on AAA titles across all major platforms, in some renowned studios such as Jagex, Ubisoft and Criterion Games, I have learnt what it is to work in a creatively lead and passion driven team which allows it's developers to thrive on bringing fun and excitement to the players of their games and how to drive and lead that creative passion into an output our players love.
Outside of working on games, I have a huge passion for playing them, with RPG's, MMO's and Action and Adventure games being my favourite way to spend some of my free time. I could talk for hours about how I got lost within the worlds of Skyrim and Fallout and the emotional journeys they took me on, or about the hilarious moments with friends when raiding and dungeon delving in games like Final Fantasy 14 and Guild Wars 2, or even the excitement and audible cheer I released after the first time I summoned my axe back to my hand in God of War. Player stories like these are what I live for when playing games, and they very much shape everything I have ever done in any of the games I have worked on, and they will influence whatever future projects I am part of as well. Outside of Video Games, I massively enjoy playing table top games, anything with cards or dice is very much my thing and I am always ready to play a game someone is passionate about, because I believe we learn from our passions in this industry. I am also a avid Sci-Fi fan with a... mild obsession for Star Wars, but I am also a big lover of ancient history and have spent holidays going between ancient historical sites and visiting archaeological digs previously. Finally, as the photo suggests, I love winter sports, I enjoy both snowboarding and skiing and have seen some breath-taking views from the Alps that keep taking me back there... Though apparently the sport doesn't like me because I've injured myself more times than I'd like to admit... EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
